The Ombudsman Agency serves
approximately 5,000 nursing home and family care home residents and
their families (as well as other interested consumers) in a
seventeen-county area around Lexington, Kentucky. Its primary objectives

The Nursing Home Ombudsman Agency of the Bluegrass, Inc. (NHOA) is to
improve the quality of care for residents of long-term care facilities.
These are nursing homes,
family care homes, and personal care.

Funding
NHOA is a
nonprofit organization which relies on donations, grants, and special
events for funding.
All advocacy services are provided free of
charge to those who need them.

expressing concerns, complaints OR praise about our agency and staff are
shared with NHOA's Board of Directors UNLESS YOU specifically request
