NHOA is a nonprofit organization which relies on donations, grants, and special events for funding. All advocacy services are provided free of charge to those who need them. We use Network for Good and PayPal for safe and secure donations.
What Your Donation Buys
$20 NHOA is the only source for clear, unbiased education and placement counseling for individuals and families. Your $20 donation will provide placement counseling to one family.
$50 Long-term care residents have specific legal rights. Your $50 donation will pay for us to train an entire nursing home staff about residents’ rights.
$75 Sixty percent of people living in long-term care receive no visitors. Your $75 donation will help us recruit and train new Friendly Visitor volunteers.
$100 Our ombudsmen identify, investigate and resolve complaints for residents. Your $100 donation provides ombudsman services to one resident for an entire year.
